Creeping Tyranny from Everywhere

The struggle over Health Care is heating up and there is a lot at stake. 16% of the Nation's economic future is at stake in the outcome. Every day there is a new headline about one attempt or another for Congress to use some shadowy procedure to pass the Health Care bill, and still the bill is not going anywhere very fast...Thank God! There are provisions in this bill that are known but many more provisions that aren't known; and therein lies the problem.

We know that the Government wants our health care records online so that "Doctors" can share information more easily. Sounds good on the surface but...(and there's always a but...) just last week in Great Britain, private medical information was put online for anyone to see. No consent was given by patients whose records were being published. It appears this was done by the ruling Labor Party in a rush to get the information up on the net before the Conservative Party comes back into power. The same danger exists here in the United States with the bitterness and distrust being at an all time high between Democrats and Republicans.

The Inter-agency Ocean Policy Task Force is asking the Federal Government to ban fishing in Oceans, the Great Lakes and other major waterways within the U.S. (Control the food source-control the people). Environmental Activists clog the courts with lawsuits that limit our freedoms and kill business. Remember the snail darter and salmon ruling that allowed the damming of a river that killed part of the wine industry in California. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is looking to control even smaller sources of water right down to the ponds in our yard.

Actually the danger is a clear and present to all American citizens. The Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill being worked on by Republicans is a prime example of a real danger to the American people. It requires a National, Biometric I. D. Card for ALL American workers. This is a very bad idea. With all American's information increasingly being put in one data base or another and being requested and shared by the Government and Business the peril is patently apparent.

The current salmonella scare in our food chain is a prime example of seemingly innocent practices being used by the USDA. The location of suspected products down to the person that purchased the product and where they live is being used to track the outbreak. Grocery store "discount cards" that are required to get products at a discount or pay a huge premium are one of the largest data bases in the Nation.

The Government wants to put a "Black Box" in every new vehicle manufactured in the U.S. with GPS information, Vehicle speed and mechanical information and more. Google and other online services are constantly being compelled by one Government Agency or another to share information.
Cameras are everywhere and the use of "spy cams" is increasing. Red light cameras with face detection software are sending thousands of tickets to people daily. Cameras in dressing rooms at Department stores, IP addresses on large servers, can you say Google , Yahoo and Facebook among the many who track us online. The list could go on endlessly.

By not knowing what is contained in major legislation being proposed, worked on, or already passed, we are leaving ourselves open to more and more limits to our freedoms. By allowing our thoughts to be tracked online and with more and more government agencies making regulations to being written to restrict free enterprise and private citizens we are freely giving up our rights. The presumption of the right to privacy is being diminished daily. We need to elect new leadership to limit the Governments intrusion into every facet of our lives.

Common sense needs to prevail. I want to be your Representative. I want your vote in the Primary. I want to continue to fight for my Country, State, family and friends. I'm tough. I will not be bought, bullied or persuaded to do anything against the Constitution or anything that is not good for the people of the 3rd District. Send the Politicians Home! Elect me and I will become part of the solution, not part of the problem.
