Dan Gilyeat Places His Name on the Ballot
To the Heart and Soul of Our Nation.
Dec. 07, is a historical mark in American history. 68 years ago today we took a devastating blow at Pearl Harbor. The enemy destroyed our Navy, more than 2400 Americans were killed and America was thrust into World War II. We could have been defeated then and there but America took a stand and all Americans got involved. Our Country was United. We fought World War II on two fronts --- in Europe and the Pacific --- defeating Nazi Germany and the Japanese
I chose Dec.07 to place my name on the Kansas Republican Primary Ballot to honor America's "Greatest Generation". Americans once again need to be united and take a stand to defend our country from enimies both foreign and domestic. I'm saddened by our current state of affairs. We have a bloated Federal Government that seems to be taking us down a path of self destruction. We must stand up and insure our freedoms are preserved for our kids and future generations.
I choose to take a stand now and honor our forefathers. I will not stand by and do nothing. I wear my uniform with pride today to honor those who fought and died at Pearl Harbor. I want to continue to fight for my Country as I have done as a Marine. I want to bring common sense back to a this country, and I want to start right here in the heart of America.
